Deborah Tayloe is a full-time blogger, children's book author, and freelance writer, contributing to large publications.
She has a B.S.Ed. in Secondary Education/English and a Spanish Minor. In addition, she holds a Certificates in Natural Health and Herbology from accredited programs. She pursued these natural wellness certifications due to her love for herb gardening.
Despite freelancing to make a living, her love is "all things home."
Deborah grew up in a family that grew a large vegetable garden and a fruit orchard, helping her parents pull weeds and can home-grown foods as part of her childhood. In fact, she had no idea that she could purchase veggies and fruits in pre-packed steel cans until she went to college and made a food run.
Today, she lives in Bertie County, North Carolina, an agricultural rural area with more chickens than people. She lives with her husband and two rescue pets a sweet toy fox terrier and a cat who showed up one day and moved into the house. Together, they enjoy DIY projects, furniture refinishing, gardening, and canning.
Today we are going to look at how you can create quick and easy vertical storage space in your home. While most of us daydream of living in a large home with huge walk-in closets, that's not the reality for most. While small home owners are content with their snug space, they have one common complaint: lack of storage space.
I love ribs, but I rarely order them when I go out to eat. I prefer to make them at home. While ribs were once a challenge, I have developed a secret ingredient that makes perfectly seasoned ribs, every time. I call it Big Daddy's Rib Rub, in honor of my husband.
Strawberries are so delicious that I freeze strawberry puree every season so that I can pull some out of the freezer throughout the year and enjoy. There's no sweeter indulgence than a decadent home-baked cheesecake topped with fresh strawberry flavor in the middle of November when strawberries are just not available.
Venison sliders are delicious little cheeseburgers made from a savory blend of beef and venison. They are perfectly portioned to grill up quickly or when you want a lighter bite.
