Deborah Tayloe is a full-time blogger, children's book author, and freelance writer, contributing to large publications.
She has a B.S.Ed. in Secondary Education/English and a Spanish Minor. In addition, she holds a Certificates in Natural Health and Herbology from accredited programs. She pursued these natural wellness certifications due to her love for herb gardening.
Despite freelancing to make a living, her love is "all things home."
Deborah grew up in a family that grew a large vegetable garden and a fruit orchard, helping her parents pull weeds and can home-grown foods as part of her childhood. In fact, she had no idea that she could purchase veggies and fruits in pre-packed steel cans until she went to college and made a food run.
Today, she lives in Bertie County, North Carolina, an agricultural rural area with more chickens than people. She lives with her husband and two rescue pets a sweet toy fox terrier and a cat who showed up one day and moved into the house. Together, they enjoy DIY projects, furniture refinishing, gardening, and canning.
Of course, fall is the season when you get to freely express your creativity considering the warmth and lots of beautiful décor elements that come with the season. Remember, most of these décor items (including pumpkins) not only enhance your curb appeal but also you can serve it up to your friends and family. In fact, when you serve up pumpkin spice & everything nice at your next party, you'll leave your guests wanting even more!
The question has been popped, the Facebook status has been updated to “engaged”, and now it’s time for wedding planning. After looking at traditional wedding options you’ve realized that $25,000 could pay off your student debt… or be put towards a house… rather than going towards the cost of the average American wedding.
Your home is your haven. It’s where you can rest, relax, and recover from a hard day’s work and where your children live and grow to become fine adults. To maintain your home as a sanctuary, you need to keep it secure from external evils such as thieves, burglars, and intruders.
If you’re looking for some home improvement this season, don’t look out; look down. Your basement has a lot of untapped potential. With proper finishing and waterproofing, you can turn it into an extra bedroom or your dream entertainment room.
