I’m sharing an infographic today called “10 Simple Ways to Make Your Home More Secure.” So it goes without saying that home security is really important for everyone. In fact, having an intruder in the home carries the high price tag of the personal safety of every household member. You’re also at risk of losing valuable belongings which can leave you and your family spending money out of pocket. Everyone endeavors to prevent unwanted visitors into the home but sometimes they will get past.

But with burglars becoming savvier, people need to constantly be vigilant. It can be easy to become complacent with your home especially when you do routine behaviors. For instance, leaving the house, you might simply forget to lock the door or you might forget to close some windows. These could be just the opportunity that a burglar will seek out.
